New Reactor for the Hydrogen Economy of the Future

8 April 2024

Jülich/Munich: An advanced reactor for green ammonia production is intended to help solve one of the major challenges of the energy transition. Scientists from Forschungszentrum Jülich, the Technical University of Munich, and Linde Engineering have now described a new approach in the Chemical Engineering Journal. Using this approach, the costs of storing green energy in hydrogen derivatives can be reduced. The research group is initially focusing on ammonia synthesis.
