Offers for Supervisors

Good supervision is often decisive for the success of a doctoral project. Our aim with JuDocS is to provide you with the best possible support in view of the complex task in this role. In addition to the process support of individual doctoral projects and subject-independent qualification of doctoral researchers, we therefore have a number of offers that you can use on a voluntary basis.

An important basis for offers for supervisors are the Jülich Supervision Guidelines. This document describes the different supervision roles and tasks that we differentiate at Forschungszentrum Jülich and in which we would like to support you.

We will register you in the supervisor role as soon as you are reported to us by your institute and then invite you to one of our next onboarding events. In addition, we offer a number of events that you can attend as needed.

• Workshops on Supervision of Doctoral Researchers
• Virtual Information Events on different topics (e.g., D&I Aspects in supervision and funding applications, security of action for recruitment and collaboration processes)
• E-Learning module about supervision of doctoral researchers at Forschungszentrum Jülich

All offers are developed in close cooperation with the Supervisors’ Forum which is the supervisors' interest group at Forschungszentrum Jülich.
